Should I use a Chrome and/or Metal Polish?

A chrome and/or metal polish is a great way to give your wheels that shiny finish. First, wash your wheels and tires with Barrett-Jackson Wheel Cleaner and follow up with Barrett-Jackson Chrome & Metal Polish for optimum results.

Do I need to dry my car after I wash It?

Yes, it’s important to quickly dry your car after washing to eliminate any water spots from developing. Use a chamois (natural or synthetic) and blot the water off the car.

TIP – Avoid using a terry cloth; these can leave lint or build up on your car's surface.

What is the difference between a polish and a wax?

Polishes contain compounds designed to remove scratches from the surface of your paint, while waxes protect your car with a clear, hard coating. Waxes can be either synthetic or natural. The high-grade Carnauba wax, found in Barrett-Jackson wax, delivers the best combination of lasting protection and deep gloss. Polishes provide the "shine" for your paint, while waxes provide the "protection."

TIP – If you use a polish, look for one that matches the color of your car.
